Dr. Eric Thomas started his career with pursuing speaking engagements with any universities, churches, and corporations who would allow it. Around 2010, while still pursuing speaking engagements, ET began a consistent YouTube series entitled "Thank God It's Monday" to provide free motivation to the world. Dr. Eric admits that when he started T.G.I.F. he didn't know if it would ever make money or be effective but he felt called to do it. After thousands of unique videos and consistent pursuit of speaking opportunities, ET's career finally gain significant traction with his iconic video "How bad do you want it" during which he presented the quote displayed the core of his entire business; "When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you will be successful".
