My favorite Abe Lincoln quote is "If you give me 6 hours to cut down a tree, I'd spend four hours sharpening the ax". I've been sharpening my ax for the last couple weeks and what that means for me is fully defining the laying out my personal and business goals for at least the next milestone.  I became to be a full-time entrepreneur, for the third time, in early 2019 and I will share with you my most current life and business report where I'm transparent about the progress made or lack thereof. As of July 9th, 2139, I will be in union with Love and through obedience to God's will continue to be sent to assist the fruition His gift of passion in your life or business. As you follow my journey I hope you learn from my failure, share in my success, and hold me accountable to my stated goals. let's look at this week's update!

What are my current milestone goals?

[Bufkin Family - Milestone 1: Survival] By December 31st, 2019 (7 weeks), Only by remaining in Christ we have habituated my continued education and massive action necessary for me to be a practicing Catholic spending at least 15 minutes every day developing a continuous relationship with God via Lectio Divina of Matthew Chapter 1 - 18 (NABRE), an attentive husband by Kayla's standards of quality time, personal touch, and acts of service, and a committed full-time income-producing entrepreneur consistently producing at least $5,000 per month in gross personal income.

[Tyrone Bufkin Enterprises - Milestone 1: Survival] By December 19th, 2020 (58 weeks), Tyrone Bufkin Enterprises is advancing more than 100,000 careers, startups, and small businesses to achieve success, happiness, and passion doing what you were designed to do using our Actionable Blog and affiliate partnerships. We are eager to invest knowledge, time, and connections into the continued growth of your enterprise.

[Positive Party DJs - Milestone 1: Survival] As of March 7th, 2020 (18 weeks), Positive Party DJs, LLC caters to at least 78 weddings, corporate, and private events per year with an average transaction value of $800 throughout southern Louisiana. By exceeding our breakeven point, We empower the influence of positive music and a small management team to professionally entertain & advertise to over 2,028 guests of all ages and music in any genre with no additional planning stress for our clients.

[SCORE Acadiana - Milestone 1: Survival] Our vision is for every person in Acadiana willing to do the work to have the support necessary to thrive as a small business owner because we believe in our client's success and love to give back to our community. By March 28th, 2020 (20 weeks) SCORE Acadiana will continue to lean on our network of 10,000 volunteers nationwide but will have at least 5 local dedicated mentors, 3 local subject matter experts, 2 local workshop presenters and at least 6 trained non-mentoring volunteers on the leadership team who manage mentor requests & follow-ups, workshops, marketing, volunteer mentors & subject matter experts. Together we will help small businesses in Acadiana to get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals.

Progress & failure made this past week

Quarter 4: 2019 [Week of November 4th, 2019] 

The past two weeks have been difficult. As I mentioned in my last update blog, I needed to stop and fix some things like a car with a flat tire. I can all about taking action quickly but that has proven not to yield the desired results I wanted. The number one thing I need to do was to access my personal and business goals. I used Tony Robbin's RPM Time Management system to more accurately determine how long it will take to accomplish each goal considering the worst-case scenario of doing everything myself until I can get help.

Quarter 4: 2019 [Week of November 11th, 2019]  

Now that my goals have been repurposed, I am eager to see how the first week will go. One of the things I focused on while compiling my goals was creating a manageable but progressive work week and I think I have done just that.
